A Personalized Path Forward

If you are here, you may be feeling uncertain about how best to support your child — and that is completely understandable.

At Learn Well, I believe that no child should have to struggle in silence, and no parent should have to navigate this process alone. My goal is to offer more than just academic support — I aim to build a path that works for your child, and for you.

This journey begins with a conversation. From there, we move at a pace that is right for your family — with care, structure, and clear communication every step of the way.

You do not need to have all the answers right now. You just need to take the first step. I will meet you there.

From Abstract to Concrete. From Hesitation to Confidence.

Step 3

Intake &
Assessment

If we decide to move forward, your child will complete an intake process. This may include informal assessments, parent interviews, and/or a review of previous reports to ensure accurate placement and planning.

Step 4

Personalized
Support Plan

Based on your child’s needs and goals, I will recommend a path forward — whether that is one-on-one therapy or a seasonal camp offering. Session times and scheduling will be coordinated with you directly.

What to Expect

Learn Well is designed to meet students where they are — with instruction that is structured, compassionate, and tailored to how they learn best.

Sessions take place in a calm, distraction-free environment. When working one-on-one, students receive the kind of personalized attention that helps them stay engaged, build confidence, and make lasting progress.

Clear communication and consistent feedback

A collaborative relationship that honors your insight and input

Transparent recommendations based on observation and data

Support that grows with your child’s needs over time

Every student’s journey is unique — and that is exactly why this approach works.

Who This Is For

Learn Well was created for students who need a personalized kind of support, one that is structured, customized, and grounded in how the brain learns best

I work with students who may be struggling in areas such as:

Reading fluency, decoding, or comprehension

Spelling, grammar, and written expression

Numeracy, place value, fractions, or conceptual math

Executive functioning or language-based learning differences

Many of my students have diagnoses such as dyslexia, dyscalculia, and/or ADHD among other diagnoses, while others may simply be working harder than they should to keep up.

Some are already receiving school-based services and need more targeted support. Others have never had formal testing, but something just does not feel right.

Learn Well is not a tutoring service. It is academic therapy designed for learners who need instruction that is as unique as they are.

Getting Started

If you believe your child would benefit from personalized academic therapy, the first step is simple — reach out.

Once I receive your inquiry, I will personally follow up to schedule a consultation and answer any questions you may have.

You can expect a thoughtful, supportive process from the very beginning — and a clear plan tailored to your child’s needs.

Help Your Child Thrive. One Step at a Time.

Therapy Frequency & Commitment

Because academic therapy is designed to rewire how students process and retain information, consistency is critical. The programs I use follow a structured scope and sequence, and optimal progress requires dedicated time and commitment

Sounds in Syllables (SIS): 3-5 sessions per week
Ongoing sessions recommended for lasting results

Multisensory Math (MM): 2 or more sessions per week
Best suited for students with conceptual gaps or math-based learning differences

Wrangling Writing (WW): 2 or more sessions per week
Focused on writing mechanics, structure, and expression

These programs are therapeutic in nature — not short-term tutoring. Think of them as an investment in your child’s long-term confidence, skills, and success.

Here is what to expect:

Your First Session

The first session is an important step — not just for assessment, but for building connection and comfort.

During this time, I focus on learning more about how your child responds to various types of instruction. We may explore letter sounds, number concepts, or writing prompts depending on your child’s needs. There is no pressure to “perform.” Instead, the goal is to create a calm and encouraging environment where your child feels safe, seen, and supported.

We will also begin establishing routines that help students transition into their sessions confidently and consistently. This includes expectations around materials, structure, and gentle pacing.

Parents often share that after just one session, their child feels hopeful again. That is the first win — and the beginning of meaningful progress.

Is My Child Ready for Academic Therapy?

Many families come to Learn Well unsure whether their child really needs more support — or wondering if what they are seeing is “normal.” These questions are incredibly common.

Here are a few signs that academic therapy may be the right next step:

Your child avoids reading or writing assignments at home

Homework leads to frustration, fatigue, or low confidence

You notice difficulty with spelling, sentence structure, or math concepts

School performance does not reflect your child’s effort or potential

You feel like you have tried everything — and your child is still struggling

If you answered yes to any of the above, your child may benefit from a more structured, personalized approach.

I am happy to help you determine if academic therapy is the right fit — and to walk with you every step of the way.

"Watching our son's confidence grow over the last 18 months has been a joy.
